Why does it seem doctor’s and hospitals are against Natural childbirth?

I am just curious why it seems that *most* doctors and hospitals are not supportive of women who want natural childbirth…as in drug and intervention free (no epidural, no ivs, no being strapped down). It seems like everyone I’ve talked to in the medical profession just roll their eyes when I talk about wanting to do natural and med free childbirth. Why is this?
