Natural childbirth?

I’m only 16 weeks with number one right now, so I’m sure I’ll probably change my mind later but I really wanna have a natural childbirth (mostly because I’ve seen an epidural cathater being place and it completely freaked me out). I just wanna hear how everyone else’s natural birth went and if anyone has any natural pain relief remedies to share. Thanks a bunch!

At lamaze class we watched a video of several natural childbirths and it seemed like it was the worst at the very end right before the baby came out. Are there certain points when it hurts more or less, or is it constant? (I’m due in September with my first and hope to go natural.)
